Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager you will assist the management team to improve the commercial performance of the store. You will help to manage the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and excellent store standards to maximise sales and profitability.

You will work as a key part of the management team:

  • Leading by example, motivating and developing the store team.
  • Ensuring performance targets are achieved giving your team feedback on their accomplishments.
  • Working within and assisting with the compliance of all legislative requirements with regard to Health and Safety, Trading Standards, Sale of Goods Act etc.

To be successful you should have:

  • Worked in a similar fast paced retail environment either at Trainee or Assistant Manager level and possess good leadership skills.
  • The ability to achieve agreed targets through the effective performance management of your team.
  • Good communication skills to manage your team through coaching, development & performance management.
  • The enthusiasm to drive your own development ready for progression.
